Solar Eclipse in Downtown Dunkirk - April 8th, 2024 at Webster Depot Park
Glass Capital Staff with be volunteering to celebrate the April 8th Solar Eclipse in downtown Dunkirk. On April 8, 2024, at 3:06 PM EDT the solar eclipse of 2024 will take place! Come witness it with us at Webster Depot Park in Dunkirk! The band 'Lost in Reality' will play from 1-5pm; t-shirts will be on sale as a fundraiser for Glass Days 2024, and concessions and special "Dunkirk" solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available too!

  Glass Capital Wins The Graphic Printing Company's People's Choice Best Car Dealer Award!Â
Here at Glass Capital, we are so proud to announce that we have won the 'Best Car' dealer award from The Graphic Printing Company's People's Choice Awards. Eligibility for this award was limited to those in The Graphic Printing Company's coverage area, which includes all of Jay, Randolph and Blackford counties as well as portions of the adjacent counties including Fort Recovery and Geneva. This year, for 2024, the Graphic Printing Company expanded its People's Choice special section this year to give the local readers the opportunity to recognize their favorites. For a few weeks in January, people had a chance to vote for favorites in a variety of categories. The Graphic Printing Company then tallied the votes. As a winner, we were listed in a special section of the newspaper.
Dunkirk Food Pantry Food Drop-Off 2023
Let's fill up a truck bed for the holiday season!!! All month long we are taking in donations for the Dunkirk Food Pantry!!! Drop off times are 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday and also Saturday 9AM-2PM!!!
 Feel the Warmth 2023 - November 27th from 5:30-7pm
Please join us for Dunkirk's annual community celebration 'Feel the Warmth' to kick off the Christmas Season on Monday November 27th from 5:30 to 7. The dealership will be passing out treats from 5-8pm and will have several displays set up for photo opportunities. Santa will arrive escorted by the Dunkirk Fire Department at 5:30. Eta Chi Sorority will help him visit with children and take photographs, prints are $2. Parents are encouraged to take photos as well. The Jay County Chamber of Commerce will be here providing activities. Sugar Grove Church will be here sharing hotdogs and soup and the Dunkirk Lions Club will be handing out gifts to children after the visit with Santa. Many other activities are happening around town at The Pink Barn Co., Living In Joy, Classique Beauty & Tanning Salon, Westlawn Business Center and The City Building and Council Chambers.

Women's Building at the 2023 Jay County Fair

Glass Capital is sponsoring the Women's Building at the upcoming Jay County Fair! The Jay County Fair has been an annual community event in East Central Indiana since 1872. Visitors to the fair will find a variety of food vendors as well as a carnival! You can also stop by the Women's Building, which we are proudly sponsoring. The Women's Building showcases all the hidden talents of the Jay County community. From baked goods, crafts and more, the Women's Building allows Jay County Citizens to compete for the best of the best. Stay tuned for new contests, guest speakers, and displays for the Jay County Fair.

Jeep Cruise-in to Support Local Animal Groups -Â June 17, 2023
Glass Capital is pleased to host an annual Jeep Cruise-in! The $10 per Jeep registration fee supports the Blue Line Canine Programs. In addition, we welcome donations of dog and cat food to support the Jay and Delaware County Humane Society. So, come out for a great time and support our local animals!

After 53 years in business under the Fuqua Family, the dealership was purchased by Scott Nuttle and Rob Bechtel. They also own and operate St. Mary's Chrysler Dodge Jeep & RAM in St. Mary's, Ohio.  The staff that you know and trust in Dunkirk will remain unchanged, under the continued leadership of Scott Manwaring as General Manager. Please join the staff in welcoming the Nuttle and Bechtel Families to Dunkirk. Rock Fuqua will officially retire from the dealership, but remain engaged in the revitalization of Dunkirk, the Dunkirk Investment Group, and all of the small businesses he has associated himself with over the years.
